At the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Marko Cadez, the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and Prof. Doc. Danica Grujicic, Minister of Health of the Republic of Serbia, ceremonially signed an agreement marking the beginning of a new five-year collaboration cycle between these two institutions in the field of obesity prevention through the ‘Aspire for balance’ campaign.
We are proude of this unique example of successful collaboration between the private and public sectors in addressing a significant issue such as obesity. Even more, we have achived over 300 media reports in the last five years, involving 350 healthcare and educational institutions that joined the campaign by displaying educational posters, and over 4,000 citizens who were educated about the importance of nutritional labeling. Most notably, thanks to digital communication, we are proud that at least 10 million people from Serbia and the region have seen information about the importance of balanced nutrition and regular physical activity for obesity prevention.
